We were quite surprised and absolutely impressed that the hotel owner actually walked from the hotel to the bus stop to greet us. Prior to our arrival from Amalfi he texted to ensure we were on the correct bus and that we got off at the correct stop. He walked us back to the hotel and straight to our room. The room was large and very clean, had the usual amenities, and included a balcony where we could see the activities in the small town square. We believe it was the family patriarch that looked for us the next morning as we sat on a local bench near the hotel just taking in the morning. He invited us to the dining room behind the hotel for a wonderful breakfast that included entirely too much food for two of us.

If you are expecting a quiet mountain village look elsewhere...
If you are expecting a quiet mountain village look elsewhere.
Of course it is not as crowded as Amalfi an Positano, but it still has a lot of traffic going through.
The streets are very narrow and there is virtually no pedestrian infrastructure.

A quite but beautiful quaint town high up the mountain from Amalfi. Sonia was so wonderful along with her family, making us feel right at home. We added two more days because we loved it so much and didn’t want to leave. She helped us with places to see and our iternary for the path of gods. Thank you so much for all your kindness and the great memories we will cherish forever. A super hostess!

It is a small town on the hills of Amalfi, one hour away from any beach city. The people are very friendly, it is a quite small town with cozy restaurants and great food, more suitable for a silent rest than the beach resorts.

The location very nice, like in the mountains.
The location very nice, like in the mountains. A good location to visit Amalfi coast, although not straight on the shore. Around 1.5h drive to Positano, quite similar times to Amalfi and Ravello, +\- 10 mins. Be prepare to mostly eat pizza, not many restaurants in Agerola and mostly well rated are Pizzerias.
I loved how close the apartment is from the bus stop going to amalfi. The mountain view from the roof top deck is a beautiful place to work from. The apartment was enjoyable to cook from and there was a grocery store very close by. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice. I loved how close the apartment is to the pathway of the gods walk as well as a walk down many stairs to amalfi. I loved it here and would stay again. The food at the local winery was fantastic.
amazing quite place, the owners were so nice and welcoming. we checked in very late and Salvatore was kind enough carry our bag to the third floor.
I love the theme of the hotel, every room was named after a god and every room has a sea view. if you want relax in a quite place with amazing views thats the place. it’s a 5 min walk to bus station. the hotel will give you the schedule for bus timing. they have parking as well.
A "Must Visit" Destination!
Hotel Le Rocce shines as a gem on the Amalfi Coast, boasting breathtaking views and spacious rooms and pool. Refaela, who warmly welcomed us at the front desk, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel's General Manager, a hospitality professional, provided us with an amazing overview and ensured our constant satisfaction. I wholeheartedly recommend it!! An effortless 10/10!
Everyone was very friendly and really helpful. The service was excellent. The hotel was very clean. Agerola is located on the mountain just above Amalfi. It is possible to see Amalfi from Agerola. The view at the top is incredible. It takes about 1 hour to go to Amalfi by bus. The last bus is at 22 from Amalfi to Agerola. It is also possible to reach nearby places such as Naples by bus.
Loved the staff. Everyone went out of their ways to make sure we have a pleasant stay. Room was clean, bathroom was very nice. They have shuttle service to pick up and drop off at the airport/ train station at a very reasonable price if you don’t want to go through the hassle of catching the bus. Giovanni the driver was great. The hotel is also very close to The path of gods hike.
Lovely owners, helpful and friendly. Beware this is not a normal hotel so you have to make allowances for the type of property where you are staying. Very good breakfast. Dinner also good but somewhat haphazard in that you have to give notice and beware that the establishment is used by specialist tour groups which rather dominate the dining area.
Agerola is a cute little town, very quiet and the views from this hotel are breathtaking! This place was all we needed during our stay. Easy way of public transportation. (We took the bus to the Amalfi coast for less than €3. Bus to Naples Centrale costs about €5). The staff are wonderful! Dinner and breakfast are good! Can't wait to come back!
The hotel was absolutely perfect. The rooms ware very very clean and comfortable, the view was breathtaking and priceless and it has everything you need.
Gabriela and her family were very helpful she had a very good knowledge of the area she plan our day. My daughters miss her a lot.
It was a beautiful stay. We had a very good time there, and everything was clean and fresh. The owner came everyday and prepared a nice breakfast for us.
We used the bus to go to Amalfi. And to Positano we went through the Path of Gods, which is not far away from the accomodation.
The reviews all mention the views and the cleanliness, and both are exceptional. The hotel is a lovely walk from Agerola centre and is perfect for walking from. The carpark is very handy, and all of the staff were brilliant, with great restaurant recommendations!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at New Royal! Vincenzo and his sister were such great warm and welcoming hosts! The breakfast pastries were delicious! The hotel was within walking distance to the bus stop and many delicious local restaurants/cafes.
The room very very good size , perfect everything, we enjoyed and felt like 5 star hotels top of the class
Antonio from reception was the best ever I meet in the last 10 years, really appreciate everything he done for us
After a couple of bad experiences in a couple of southern Italian hotels, We went in with zero expectations and were bowled by the kindness and warmth of this great B&B. This is hands down our best experience in Italy.
Luxury rooms with the main surprise, which we do not expect: everyday our room was cleaned and our towels were changed like in the hotel. We were really surprised and are thankful for that.
They were renovating during our stay, so everything was a bit different. But the hotel manager did everything to make us comfortable and was very helpfull and friendly.
